Description

Sandbar Co is a Perth based company, who launched their novel and patent pending product, the Sandbar, in August 2020; and is proudly handcrafting these tables in North Fremantle, Perth with a local company- Saltwood Designs.

A Sandbar is a handmade, compact, and fold-up beach table, designed to store your essentials
while you’re at the beach. With a magnetic-sealed hidden compartment for your valuables, it is the perfect hideaway from the sun, sand, and potential theft. The tabletop is designed to meet all of your beach needs.

Lighter items can be stored on its mesh surface which allows sand to fall straight through. The timber portions of the tabletop have been handcrafted to support heavier items and include two cup holders and two wine glass cut-outs for your convenience. Each Sandbar comes with a matching canvas backpack to be stored in, with handy pockets and a water bottle holder. The idea of Sandbar came after a morning that Bec, the founder, was at South Beach in Perth. After sitting down and placing her coffee next to her on the sand, it fell over.

Her gorgeous macrame bag she popped by her side was also filled with sand! As the day went on her phone was constantly overheating in the sun, and every-time she went for a swim, she battled
finding a "safe" place for her sunnies. After endless googling trying to find the perfect beach table, and not finding anything that solved all of her problems, Bec decided to design and build one herself. That is where Sandbar began, in January 2019.

Sandbar Co also sells handmade linen scrunchies in collaboration with a small business “That’s My
Scrunchie” based in the Gold Coast. These scrunchies are inspired by the Sandbar Co colour palette and come in beautiful gift boxes wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper and biodegradable satchels.
